Welcome to Maryada Purushotam College of Education. Maryada Purushotam College of Education, Chilhari, Block Dumraon, Distt. - Buxar (Bihar) is a co-educational institute established and Managed by Indian Computer Education Society. The college has been approved by Eastern regional Committee, Bhubneshwer & National Council for Teacher Education, New Delhi, Ministry of HRD Govt. Of India, and affiliated to Aryabhatta Knowledge University, Patna (Bihar).
The Institute is situated on Buxar - Patna National highway No. 84 at Village Chilhari(Pratap Sagar) in Distt. Buxar (Bihar). It is at a distance of 10 k.m's from Buxar District Headquarter and 60 k.m's. from Arrah, and 135 k.m's from Patna, the state capital. It is well connected by Road and train. The nearest railway stations are Dumraon and Buxar.
The location of Institute is very beautiful. Green fields of food grains, trees, flower, simple and innocent villagers comprise the main characteristics, the campus is well laid with state are building. Different teaching Blocks for different departments are there.
Hostel facility is available, and provides homely atmosphere to the students. The hostel is equipped with all necessary facilities like internet and indoor games.
